This week was fantastic overall. I will post the final, completed goals tomorrow but here is my “check-in” for today.
This morning I did my scripture study and 10 minutes of indexing. I had to do 10 minutes because my roommate Hunter came in yesterday to talk and I didn’t finish more than about a minute of indexing yesterday.
So, 57 submitted this week. 943 to go.
Good news!!! I did not wake up at any point last night with a coughing attack! I think this cold is really working it’s way out.
This morning in the scriptures was glorious. As I am reading I am feeling this…absolute joy. I am so grateful for them.
This morning I read Alma 4 and a piece of a lesson in the Old Testament Institute Manual. It is really helping me understand some of the confusing bits in the Old Testament. Right now I am in Exodus 20 reading about the 10 commandments. Here is a link to the section I’ve been reading over the past few days.
Also this morning I did my 5 minutes of indexing. I am working on an immigration record. Almost all of the names are Norwegian so there are a lot of Hans, and Jorg etc. There was a really awesome name this morning though: Odd Paul. Yep, that was his name. Wonderful right? If you are interested in doing indexing (it is super fun) here is the link to the website.
I hope you are all having a good morning I sure am. This morning my baby sister leaves for California to go on tour with her ballroom dance team. Good day!
Well, this morning I am working on all of those goals I set on Sunday.
Here is my “TO DONE” list since I woke:
- read scriptures
- equivalent of 5 minutes indexing. Because I didn’t index yesterday I actually did 10 minutes today.
Now to the shower, homework, and off to class.
Guess what! It is only 7 am! Good day ahead!!!
Is it really February? Time is going by too fast. It seems that there is so much to do and yet so little time.
When I started this blog I was definitely better about updating it than I have been but one of my goals this week is to be better about updating regularly.
In fact, why don’t I just hammer out this weeks goals eh?
1. First and foremost - read my scriptures everyday.
2. Catch up and complete all schoolwork that I am currently behind on. This includes finishing Thursday’s story-boarding project ASAP.
3. Attend the temple Thursday night.
4. Do the equivalent of 5 minutes of indexing or family search everyday this week.
5. Get things organized and stick to chore chart.
I would have some more “physical” goals but I’ve literally been in bed for the past week with this little winter cold from Hades, so I am just going to focus on making it from bed to work and class this week.
